Our in-depth coverage of the 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo begins in just a short few hours as round one is set to begin later on tonight. This year all of us at the Rodeo Round Up will be trying a different route to bring you all the coverage that you have been wanting throughout the years. That being said, we have decided not to be confined to the media room in the basement of the Thomas & Mack but wanted to travel throughout the city to bring you many different options that are available to you if you are not fortunate enough to get your hands on tickets to the performances. There are many different ways to enjoy the excitement that the WNFR brings to Las Vegas and we will show you a few of them throughout our coverage this year.
Now, if you are asking yourself if there will still be interviews with all of your favorite professional rodeo athletes, the answer to that question is OF COURSE! Even though we will not be restricted to the media room we will be headed across town over the next ten days to bring you some fun and exciting interviews from your favorites as they make special promotional appearances every day. Along with hearing from your favorite athletes, we will also feature a few special guests that will stop by to talk to us as well which we are beginning to set up and will announce once final arrangements have been made!
Big Brother’s Jason Dent Stops By To Chat With Jason In Las Vegas
Over the past year, millions of reality television fans have fallen in love with the hit reality show Big Brother and its contestants that are featured on it. This year, the professional rodeo world continued its march towards being more mainstream with one very humble and funny man that made his way onto the season 19 cast. Jason Dent a.k.a. Whistlenut made fans across the globe fall in love with him as he made his way to a third-place finish on the season. Many memorable moments were made on this year’s season that revolved around him that will be remembered for many years to come.
Once we got settled into our Skyloft room at MGM courtesy of our friends from Warriors and Rodeo along with Shari Cooper, we began our 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo coverage with our first special guest that we secretly lined up to talk to. Jason Dent came by the room to talk to us for a few minutes about his time on the show and many other things that have been happening in his life. If you were a fan of his or not you will want to watch this interview to see what he is all about when he is not controlled by national networks to pad their ratings. Tonight we begin our coverage of the 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and, as I stated earlier, it will have a different look but will still feature all of the interviews that you are looking for. Our team is headed out this morning to get some contestant interviews that we will feature in our story later on tonight. On the other hand, we will also bring you across town to different viewing parties to show you what all options that you have if you want to come to Las Vegas and experience the superbowl of rodeo for yourselves but cannot afford tickets to the show. Later tonight we will begin our coverage right from our host hotel, the MGM Grand on the beautiful Las Vegas strip!
Each and every night we will still bring you the l have been hoping to receive again this year with more of a personal spin instead of a “nightly recap” format. Our team will still bring you links to see who ended up where and how the performance went down but we want to bring you more of a fan’s perspective with this year’s coverage.
