PRCA Bareback Rider Casey Colletti

The Rodeo Round Up: Unplugged (Podcast 2) focuses in on Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association Bareback Rider Casey Colletti.  Being on of the fan favorites comes with honor but puts extra pressure on cowboys and cowgirls to make enough money every year to qualify for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in December inside the Thomas & Mack in beautiful Las Vegas, NV.  Traveling the many miles these cowboys and cowgirls do and the amount of stock they ride throughout the year can take its toll on these athletes and cause season ending injuries as well.

Casey Colletti has had his ups and downs this year while traveling thousands of miles.  Last year at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo he sustained a huge knee injury that affected him the rest of the week while competing.  We talk about what the extent of the injury was and what effect it had on this top professional rodeo athlete.  Not only did the pain affect him but the mind games started swirling around in his head.  Get a first hand perspective on how an injury so early on in the WNFR affects these cowboys and cowgirls from Colletti himself.

Colletti worked hard to rehab his end of the season injury just in time to start hitting the rodeo trail hard during Cowboy Christmas to try to make his fourth Wrangler National Finals Rodeo appearance.  Just as he started getting back into the groove of collecting many big checks and blazing a trail through the world standings he had another huge and scary bump in the road.  Unfortunately, for Colletti it was another injury that would end up being more serious than he thought thus prematurely ending his huge run towards his fourth Wrangler National Finals Rodeo qualification.  Find out what it was and what it will take for this hard-working bareback rider to get back on the run and the life that he has loved for the past ten years while competing in the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association.

Find out what Casey Colletti is up to now that he is rehabbing and can not ride bareback horses as Jason and the Rodeo Round Up: Unplugged talk about the personal life of one of your favorite PRCA contestants.  We find out who he travels with, what he does in his free time, life changes that have been made since having to leave competition and what his plans are for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.  He breaks it down and opens up his heart for the fans of the Rodeo Round Up talking about how hard it is to sit at home and see all of the updates and television action and how it affects his attitude and the personal struggles that come with it.
