This week’s edition of  “The Rodeo Round Up Unplugged” features special guest the 2008 Miss Rodeo America, Amy Wilson.  Jason and Amy get down to business, while the PRCA season is as well, to talk about many things to watch for heading into Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo in December.  During our conversation we talk about the year in review, what to watch for in Las Vegas, the Miss Rodeo America program and what is expected of the contestants competing for this year’s title.  Jason also digs into some personal life questions with Amy about what the Miss Rodeo America win has done for her and her career up to this point and what may lie ahead for her.  We also find out what exactly the contestants go through in Las Vegas and what will be expected of the newly crowned Miss Rodeo America for the year to come.

The lovely Amy Wilson is not only a talented rodeo star herself but a television personality as well.  RFD-TV has signed an agreement with the 2008 Miss Rodeo America winner to become a personality for their station as well as special correspondent for any special broadcasts that may come up.  If you follow RFD-TV much you have probably seen her conducting live interviews and providing some back stories at many large rodeo events throughout this past year.  Along with all that work she was also selected to be part of the RFD-TV team covering the history making “American” earlier this year where she did a wonderful job interviewing all the winners of each event inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Listen below for the entire interview and see what she has to say about the season and her thoughts on the entire Miss Rodeo America competition.  If she is any clue as to what the Miss Rodeo America title can do to a young lady there are many dreams to come true in the years to come for all the lucky winners that are able to wear the crown of Miss Rodeo America!

Continue to follow the Rodeo Round Up each week for new editions of “The Rodeo Round Up Unplugged”.  Jason will continue to surprise you with some of your favorite contestants and personalities from the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association and the Professional Bull Riders organizations.  If you have any requests on who you would like to hear from please post a comment and the Rodeo Round Up team will do their best to make those requests happen.
