Kansas City Plays Host To The Fourth 15/15 Bucking Battle Of 2016!

PBR KC

Last night Kansas City, Missouri played host as the PBR Built Ford Tough Series brought the fourth 15/15 Bucking Battle competition to the Sprint Center.  Now that these fun and exciting events have reached the half way point the world standings leader boards are changing each and every weekend.  That being said, the last four of these special competitions will be something to keep a very close eye on as the prize money and world championship season points are inflated for each win throughout the season.

Our team members from AVID Visual Imagery Rodeo Photography were in attendance tonight to witness the top 15 bull riders in the Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series world standings match up against 15 of the top ranked bucking bulls in the business today.  Now we all know that with that much bovine power the rides tally outlook would not fair well for the cowboys but the effort they put out tonight showed how much heart theses athletes bring to the arena each and every time.

Tonight was definitely a 15/15 Bucking Battle that was one that showcased some of the very best stock contractors in the professional rodeo and bull riding circuits in general.  The bucking bull power that cracked out of those bucking chutes tonight was record setting and something fans will remember for the rest of the year.  As the new format of deciding how bulls are chosen to be in contention for the World Champion Bucking Bull title surely shows what it means to those stock contractors that haul these fantastic bovine athletes up and down the road each and every week.

While there were very few rides in tonight’s Kansas City 15/15 Bucking Battle competition the ones that were able to make the elusive eight second buzzer received high marks from the Professional Bull Riders judges.  Once the intense round was in the books and fans left the arena, the cowboys nursed their injuries in the Justin Sports Medicine Training Room and the lights went down on the arena everyone was still talking about the huge ride that was made to win the fourth battle of the 2016 season.

Tonight is was J.B. Mauney who would reign supreme and outlast the other 3 riders that managed to make the eight second buzzer during a round the featured the best of the best on both sides of the arena.  Once the chute gate flung open it was J.A.R.S Bucking Bulls / Gene Owen’s Wicked who would match move for move and bring him to the round win.  After winning the 15/15 Bucking Battle tonight Mauney managed to take home quite a bit of moola as well as some much needed championship points that placed him number one in the world heading into tomorrow night.  The inflated points allowed him to put another 150 points on the board and helped him continue his march to the top the 2016 World Standings Leader Board.
