2014 PBR World Champion Bucking Bull Contenders
While the world watched the 2014 Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series World Finals to see who would win the World Championship there was another huge race that was being watched by millions. Eight bovine competitors came into Las Vegas vying for their chance to be named World Champion bucking bull for the 2014 season. Many great names were in the two night, two buck out clean slate that was set to ensure starting in the second round and finishing in the Championship Sunday sixth round of competition. Some of the notables included Asteroid, Jared Allen’s Air Time, Roy and many others but none were greater in 2014 than the legendary and retiring bucking bull Bushwacker.

All the hype came to a head for the first time of the 2014 PBR World Final in performance number two on Thursday night as all eight contenders for the World Champion Bucking Bull race faced off for the first of two times to set the stage going into Championship Sunday. After the first outs of these great bucking bulls many people were left to wonder if Bushwacker could achieve the impossible after posting only a 45.00 bull score leaving him far behind the leader after round two, Asteroid proving he was ready to give what it takes gaining a 46.50 bull score. Knowing that a one and a half deficit in scoring was a huge task and not totally agreeing with how the judges scored his bucking bull Bushwacker’s owner, Julio Moreno, talked with the Rodeo Round Up the day before Bushwacker bucked one last time to see if he could once again become World Champion. Watch below to see what Julio Moreno had to say about the possibility and what he has planned in the future and how you could own part of the legendary bucking bull for yourself!
