2013 Professional Bull Riders World Champion J.B. Mauney did not have the night he wanted at the Iron Cowboy V event but came back with a new attitude the next night at the history making RFD-TV’s The American. J.B. Mauney knew that there was a $100,000 payday at the end of the event inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas and he did what he had to do to win it. J.B. rode well in front of 50,000 fans to win the first ever RFD-TV’s The American rodeo which will go down in the history books as the richest one day rodeo in the history of the sport. Jason and the Rodeo Round Up team caught up with J.B. after his win and found out what this event will do to the sport of professional rodeo and what this money means to him and his family.
J.B. Mauney talks about what the American and its payday means to him
Be sure to stay tuned to the Rodeo Round Up for the next couple of weeks as we will be posting one new story/interview each day from our complete coverage of the Iron Cowboy V and The American events that were held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas!
