Day two of the inaugural Boyd Gaming Cinch Chute Out was yet another thrilling performance as some of the top cowboys and cowgirls in the world showcased their talents in the arena floor. The Orleans Arena was electrified as the action began and created a buzz throughout the fan base of those sitting in the arena seats. Many were looking at their odds sheets as they placed legal bets, allowed for the first time ever, while others played the interactive game to win cash and some great prizes!
After the round came to an end the field of eight cowboys or cowgirls in each event was whittled down to six that will participate in tomorrow’s championship round three. Over these last two days each contestant has made two appearances down in the arena to try and obtain the best total scores or times that would allow them to advance to the chute out round on Saturday afternoon. Like I said earlier all of these rodeo athletes laid it out on the line to make sure that they could make it to the final round on Saturday to compete for their share of the $200,000 prize pool! Below is a complete breakdown of today’s events and information on who will advance to tomorrow’s championship round.
We have a complete breakdown of today’s second round action as well as who will advance and who is out for the championship round on Saturday afternoon. Below the name in each event that is in BOLD will be the go round winner for the second round that was held this afternoon. The names, in each event, that have three asterisks (***) behind their name means that they are one of the six contestants that have qualified for tomorrow’s money round. This will include today’s score or time followed by an (/), then their total score or time over the two first rounds of competition!
