Today the Professional Bull Riders organization and BlueDEF Diesel Exhaust Fluid, the title sponsor of the PBR’s BlueDEF Velocity Tour, have joined forces to announce an exciting contest to search the globe to find the next PBR Built Ford Tough Series superstar! A new competion to find some of the best up-and-coming bull riders is taking place to allow each competitor a chance to ultimately make their way all the way to Louisville, Kentucky for the BlueDEF Velocity Tour World Finals. Although the chance is there for everyone it will not be easy to make it through the process and pass the tests of all the coaches and superstars that will be laid out in front of them.
It was announced that all the future professional bull riders that decide to take the leap of faith and join in this new competition, if chosen to move forward, will be coached and mentored by some of the very best in the business. This year will mark the first year of this endevour and it will be headlined by coaches such as the Director of PBR Livestock Cody Lambert, reigning and 3-time World Champion Silvano Alves, world number two Matt Triplett and world number six Nathan Schaper along with many different PBR BlueDEF Veloicty Tour superstars. It is very easy for contestants, male or female, who are not currently in the top 100 in the PBR standings to enter and you can do it simply by going to www.BuckingMadness.com to sign up between June 23 and July 30th, 2015!
Once all entries are in and the July 30th date hits there will be a total of 10 finalists that will be selected to attend a 4-day bull riding boot camp at the home of Cody Lambert in Bowie, Texas. While in Texas the finalists will meet with their coaches and mentors for a complete evaluation that will help determine who has the grit and try and who will impress the superstars enough to be invited to be on of the top five contestants to move on in the competiton. This will not be easy as it will be a very intesive four days in the blazing heat and failure of lack of dtermination will not be an option for the ten athletes selected to be there. They must impress the coaches, mentors and special guests enough to be chosen to move on to the next phase of the competition.
For the five contestants that are selected to continue on, the dream of competing in the PBR is facing them square in the face. The remaining contestants will receive an invitation to compete at the Professional Bull Riders BlueDEF Veloctiy Tour stop September 19th in Cleveland, Ohio. This is not only a chance to ride in the PBR but, once again, a chance to impress the judges by becoming one of the top two ranked finalists at the event who will move on and keep their dream of competing in the PBR Built Ford Tough Series a reality!
The two contestants who place the highest in Cleveland, Ohio will earn a spot to ride at the much anticpated 2015 Professional Bull Riders BlueDEF Velocity Tour World Finals in Louisville, Kentucky.
