While covering the 2014 World’s Toughest Rodeo in St. Paul, Minnesota this past weekend I had the extreme pleasure of catching up with an old friend and found out what he has been up to since we have seen each other last. Kenny Petet has been around the rodeo industry for many years and now has his name cemented in the history books. He is now the proud owner of the world renowned Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey and travels the country with his new family member.

Whiplash and Boogie were in town to perform for the World’s Toughest Rodeo fans inside the Excel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota this past weekend. Trust me when I say that the action was fast and furious throughout the two night event but once Whiplash and Boogie ran into the arena to perform the fans were on the edge of their seats. It is very interesting and funny to me that the highlight of the evening is when a 6 pound primate performs in front of a packed house.
I had the honor of talking to Kenny, Whiplash and Boogie after their performance on Friday night. I have included the interview to you can learn a little bit more about the star of the show and find out a little bit about his personal life outside of the rodeo arena.
