We are getting down to counting by hours until the start of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association’s 57th Annual Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, Nevada! All of us at the Rodeo Round Up are finalizing everything and getting ready for our travel dates to cover everything involved with this huge event. We have added a lot of things on our plate this year and we all hope that you will enjoy the expanded coverage and special features that we will be bringing you throughout the entire run of the WNFR!
During the first day of the much anticipated Wrangler National Finals Rodeo there is a unique event taking place over at the South Point Hotel and Casino during the daytime hours. There has been a lot of hype about the rodeo documentary film “Man In The Can” which gives everyone an insight into what life is like as a professional rodeo clown. People have wondered when they will be able to watch this film and media personnel will have that opportunity while in Las Vegas. Along with the screening we will also be able to have some time for a question and answer session with those involved in the making of the movie.
The Rodeo Round will be there and will give all of you an update on our thoughts regarding the movie as well as some questions along with answers that will be asked during that portion of this event. Our team is very excited to be able to view the showing and bring you some insight into what it took to make such a unique documentary film. I think that this will be very informational and interesting to see and hear a personal prospective from those intimately involved in its production.
Today we bring you this courtesy of the NFR Experience:
2007 — In December, Las Vegas Events announced that the song “Cowboy Town,” recorded by superstar duo Brooks & Dunn, has been adopted as the official song of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) for the next two years. The song will become an integral part of the promotional plan for the NFR’s 50th anniversary celebration.
