The Rodeo Round Up’s 2015 WNFR Coverage Starts Tomorrow!

By this time tomorrow everything will be starting to kick off to signify the start of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association’s 57th Annual Wrangler National Finals Rodeo!  The entire Rodeo Round Up team are chomping at the bit for all the action to get underway.  We have talked over the last week about the plans we have while we are out here and the expanded coverage that we are going to work hard to bring you.  Before things get put into high gear we would just like to say thank you for continuing to follow us on here and throughout all of our social media platforms.

That being said, I want to remind you about the interactive game that we will be having for each of the rounds.  Make sure to like all of our social media platforms so you can be entered into the game and see what event the game will focus on for each round.  Daily announcements will be posted each and every day at 8 A.M. Central time.  Make sure to review the rules and get your submissions in on time to be able to play each day.  We have some fantastic prizes that we will be awarding for each day’s game.  Official rules will be posted on our Facebook page so you can review them for complete details!

Kicking off all of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo festivities tomorrow morning will be the first day of the biggest western shopping experience in the world, Cowboy Christmas, held inside of the Las Vegas Convention Center.  Not only does this attraction offer some of the best western world shopping but also provides rodeo fans with many different options for free, live and up close daily stage shows and arena entertainment.  You can catch the Alexis Bloomer Live, Flint Rasmussen’s Outside the Barrel and other shows on the main stage.  You can also catch numerous types of shows, entertainment and how to clinics inside of the arena throughout the day as well.

The Rodeo Round Up team will be on-site to report on all of the happenings at this year’s Cowboy Christmas.  We will be focusing on some of the in arena action throughout the ten days as well as gathering some great up close and personal interviews with some of the stage show hosts, contestants, musical acts and special guests for future stories in the weeks following the completion of the 2015 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.  Our complete coverage of the Cowboy Christmas happenings will start with the Bull Fighters Only event kicking off right at 9 A.M. as the doors swing open.

2014 — Sage Kimzey, the 20-year-old from Strong City, Okla., put together one of the finest rodeo seasons in not only his event’s history, but in all of rodeo history. Kimzey earned $318,631 and ran away with not only the world title, but also the Wrangler NFR average buckle, as well as the PRCA Resistol Rookie of the Year award and the RAM Top Gun truck. He broke the bull riding earnings record with $175,466, and finished just $2,135 behind bull rider Matt Austin’s record for the best single-event rodeo season in history.
