The Elite Rodeo Association, ERA, that have been making waves within the professional rodeo industry has created yet another tremendous buzz throughout the community with the announcement and press conference that came late last week concerning the organization and its first ever finals event. Between professional bull riding and the now two professional rodeo association finals the last three months of the year will soon be taken up by travelling the United States to catch all of the world class action that will be unfolding.
The announcement was made that the Elite Rodeo Association has secured its dates and location for their first ever World Championship event to be held in Dallas, Texas in November of 2016. Along with this historic announcement was a red carpet style press conference to make things official inside the American Airlines Center, home of the Dallas Mavericks. We here at the Rodeo Round Up can not wait to see how everything unfolds and hope that all sides can still be mutual to create, yet another, fantastic event for rodeo fans world wide to witness live.
Maybe the biggest announcement was the date of this event itself. There has been a huge buzz for many months regarding the timing of this historic yearly event. Many thought that the cowboys and the cowgirls of the ERA would time their own World Finals during the same time as the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association’s Wrangler National Finals Rodeo but I think I can speak for a majority of us saying we are all very happy that was not the case.
