WPRA Barrel Racer Taylor Jacob
Jason and his Rodeo Round Up team reported a few weeks back about the fire that destroyed the home of Women’s Professional Rodeo Association’s barrel racer Taylor Jacob. This young phenom made her name known as she made quite the statement at the 2013 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo winning two rounds in her first appearance at the Thomas & Mack.
When folks within the rodeo industry talk about what a family it is and how close knit our very own are, everyone came together in Jacob’s time of need and replaced some of her keepsakes and memories from her very first WNFR qualification. Although Jacob was in Houston getting ready to run in the night performance on the day she found out her house had burnt down she knew all the memorabilia she had was gone up in flames including her two go round win buckles that she cherished whole heatedly.
Jacobs’ two go round win buckles that were lost in the fire
Two of the sports biggest forces came together to remake Taylor Jacobs’ two go round win buckles so she still had something to cherish even though many memories were destroyed in a fire that left her and her entire family trying to find any light from the devastation they endured. Montana Silversmiths and Bloomer Trailers, a sponsor of the Rodeo Round Up, came together to present her two new go round win buckles to her. Montana Silversmiths issued a statement posted on their facebook page saying, “We, at Montana Silversmiths, were saddened to hear that Taylor Jacob and her family lost their home in a fire. Bloomer Trailers, along with Montana Silversmiths want to help Taylor recover two of her hard-earned buckles by recreating her 2013 NFR 3rd & 7th Go-Round Barrel Racing Buckles that were destroyed in the fire.”

It is wonderful to see the entire rodeo family come together once again for one of our own and I am so very happy to see the Montana Silversmiths and the Rodeo Round Up’s sponsor, Bloomer Trailers, come together to give Taylor back her buckles that she so dearly cherishes.
