As the Rodeo Round Up team continues our coverage from Las Vegas of the 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo we keep bringing you different looks as to what is available to you throughout town. During tonight’s round two performance we headed just off the legendary Las Vegas Strip to the beautiful Orleans Hotel and Casino property to attend another viewing party option. As we settled in we began to look at the marquee match-ups that lied ahead and began to ramp up our excitement level ahead of round two.
After a much-needed down night, we will look forward to heading to the Las Vegas Convention Center to scope out what everyone can find and shows that they can partake in. Once we arrive on site tomorrow morning we will be completing some highly-anticipated contestant interviews with your favorite professional rodeo athletes, both 2017 WNFR qualifiers and not. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for interviews to be added to our daily stories that have been posted thus far and across our social media platforms throughout the remaining 8 days of action here in Las Vegas!
Friday night live here in Las Vegas consisted of the Rodeo Round Up team heading to the Orleans Hotel and Casino as we visited PRCA barrel man Justin Rumford as host of the official WNFR viewing party at the property. All I can say is that I would not be leaving this party in the same condition as I showed up to it in after a hilarious three hours of excitement. If anyone is looking for a highly energetic and a crowd participation type option, this is surely the place to be.
From the moment the lights went down and the music cranked up it was a party-type atmosphere that was undeniable as everyone in attendance was anxiously waiting for the second go-round of the 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo to begin. That being said, the time waited was well worth it with some huge runs and fantastic rides that took center stage once the action began across town inside the Thomas & Mack Arena on the beautiful University of Nevada-Las Vegas campus!
Trevor Brazile Takes Home A Round Two Win At The 2017 WNFR
After an intense round one performance just 24-hours ago it was time for the top fifteen contestants in each event to, once again, put their best feet forward and put in all the effort they have to try and earn a go-round win here in round two. Tonight, was just as exciting and those that would manage to come out on top of the field continued their enthusiasm to the South Point Hotel and Casino to accept their go-round win Montana Silversmith belt buckles that awaited them in form of a packed house.
That being said, the round tonight would again offer some contestants their first glimpse of what it feels like to be a Wrangler National Finals Rodeo go-round winner. On the other side of the coin, a few veterans of the sport would again make their way to the top of the field to claim another win themselves. Tonight, one of those that would claim victory would be the King of the Cowboys, Trevor Brazile, who would lay down a blazing time to take home the tie-down roping win in round two.
