There is one man that has the power and makes things happen throughout the entire Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association’s rodeo season and as well as the “Superbowl of Rodeo”, the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.  PRCA’s Commissioner Karl Stressman is the point man and head of this prestigious professional rodeo organization.  Many people know what it takes to head such an organization but what does he do throughout the 10-day run in the beautiful city of Las Vegas while it hosts its WNFR every year.  We were able to sit down with Stressman to get many of your questions answered at the 2015 WNFR this last December.

Each year Karl Stressman holds a press conference in conjunction with the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo down in the media room where all of the press corps works their magic.  After each press conference which answers some questions, and raises some other ones as well, the press has a chance to talk to the commissioner himself to bring you, the fans of the PRCA, the answers that you deserve and want to know about things happening within the industry.

This year Jason and the Rodeo Round Up team took a little different angle in our line of questioning.  Many fans want to know exactly what Karl Stressman does during his time in Las Vegas once the show begins and he has time to breathe a little sigh of relief.  We sat down with the commissioner to find out that answer and see what his candid responses would be.  Listen below to hear from the man himself to see what he has to say about his job and why he enjoys it so much, specifically while he is in Las Vegas for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo!
