PBR World Finals Layout Design Released

As we move ever closer to the 2016 PBR Built Ford Tough Series World Finals more information is being released as to the new design and set up.  This year will mark a new journey in the history of this organization as we all head towards the strip to the new home of the World Finals festivities.  The new T-Mobile Arena will play host to this season ending event for years to come and now we know how the fans perspective will be throughout the 6 rounds of competition and the entertainment that was added this year.

Many of the loyal PBR fans that make the trek west to Las Vegas each November were left wondering how things would be different with this change of venue.  For many years the Thomas & Mack Arena was the home of this fantastic event that draws thousands of rodeo and bull riding fans to town.  From what I have seen today the change of venue will give the fans in attendance a much better experience than the previous split arena format that they have been used to in past years.

Once the first round of competition begins on November 2nd the sold out crowd will walk into a new arena and experience a new level of entertainment.  The T-Mobile Arena is situated directly on the legendary Las Vegas strip and will make things much easier for those fans coming in from across the country and world for that matter.  Along with the new location is an updated state of the art entertainment complex that will bring the excitement and enthusiasm of the PBR fans in attendance to a new level.

We are also very excited for this new adventure from the media side of things too but will, much like the fans it attendance, be a major adjustment that will more than likely cause some growing pains as we all get situated into a new setting.  That being said, our coverage of this year’s PBR World Finals will be like no other as we all get set to add to our coverage to make this year one for the record books here at the Rodeo Round Up!

The feel for this year’s PBR World Finals will be much different that in years past as the “split arena” look will go by the wayside.  The new look and the details of the changes were released today and the buzz is in the air about how excited everyone involved is.  As you can see from the photo below things are beginning to get set as we quickly approach the beginning of the change.  The format will be the same as it has been all season but the layout of how the action will be is much different than anyone has ever seen before within the Professional Bull Riders organization.

The main difference the fans will notice is that there will be sets of bucking chutes in three of the four corners of the arena.  This will give every fan an opportunity to be up close and personal with all the action happening down on the arena floor.  This is a huge change from the end arena set up inside of the Thomas & Mack that left folks wondering if their seats would be good enough to see all the action as it happens.  That being said, it leaves one corner of the arena open for a new and exciting addition to this year’s festivities.

Among all of the exciting bull riding action will be a new addition as the PBR brings in some legendary musical acts to perform throughout each round over the five day run.  The musical concerts will be part of the ticket price for each night and provide each and every fan an opportunity to see some of their favorite musical stars along with the top 35 bull riders in the world competing for a world championship title.  Headlining his year’s concerts will be rock n’ roll icon Steven Tyler but that is just the tip of the iceberg for who is set to perform throughout the week long event.

Along with Tyler will be a number of fantastic performances to see including an opening act that will give the fans something to remember for years to come.  Reigning PBR World Champion and fan favorite J.B. Mauney will open up the World Finals with a special “Bad To The Bone” production with the legendary George Thorogood & The Destroyers.  Along with these two acts you can also see some other very talented artists.  The complete list of daily entertainment can be seen below:
