As rounds one and two concluded last night the attention turned to what was about to transpire inside the Bridgestone Arena on this fateful Saturday Night. As the opening ceremonies for the fourth and final Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series major began the tension inside the arena came to an all-time high. For the top 35 bull riders in the world that managed to get by round one just 24 hours ago they knew tonight what the task at hand would be, to outlast and out ride all of those in their way.
Tonight as the competition ran through its paces the bracket pairings grew shorter and shorter as one lucky contestant would have what it took to claim the victory and the massive amount of championship points and money that went along with it. After a long summer break it was evident who took it easy and who hit the rodeo trail hard. No matter what decisions were made each of the top 35 bull riders in the world had their own reasons which would leave it to be seen who chose the right path this year.

As the third and subsequent rounds began earlier tonight the excitement in the air was almost beyond containment as the loyal fans of the PBR knew that they would witness some spectacular action down on the arena floor. As the night started those in attendance would see 12 of the top 35 bull riders in the world make their way to the bucking chutes for the start of action that would determine who would walk away champion and claim the huge paycheck and points that were up for grabs. By the end of the night 8 others would join them in the “Last Chance Bracket” to set the field going forward.

Once the majority of the field was weeded through it was time to get to the moment that all the fans in attendance and those watching at home were waiting for as the final round of the Music City Knockout began inside of the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee! Many fan favorites made the elite final bracket pairings and that sure set the stage for some very exciting action that made everyone watching stay on the edge of their seats yelling words of encouragement for 8 seconds at a time.

Once everything was said and done there was one man that stood tall above the rest of the field to be crowned champion earlier tonight atop the shark cage. Cooper Davis stood in the center of the arena in amazement as he heard his name over the loud speaker, claimed his championship buckle, new boots and readied himself for his championship interview with the in arena announcers. If anyone is ready for next week’s event that includes a 15/15 Bucking Bull Challenge it will be the 2014 PBR World Champion J.B. Mauney after putting up the most points with 265.25 here in Nashville even though it was all about the bracket play this weekend!
As we look forward to the action that will commence next week live from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma there will still be a lot of unanswered questions as this year’s world title race is one of the closest in recent memory. Many things can happen with a huge two-day event that will include yet another 15/15 Bucking Bull Challenge that will pair up the top 15 bull riders with the top 15 bucking bulls going up and down the road today. That being said, next week will once again be a must watch situation if you are any type of professional bull riding fan!
