The Boyd Gaming Cinch Chute Out Will Return To Las Vegas In 2016!

cinch in story 2

After  very successful inaugural Boyd Gaming Cinch Chute Out event this past December in Las Vegas the big question on everyone’s minds was if it was good enough to be able to happen again.  The event last year was held at the Orleans Hotel and Casino December 10 -12, the same time frame as the PRCA’s Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.  This made for an interesting dynamic which gave the excited rodeo fans yet another option to see some of their favorite rodeo athletes perform while they were in Las Vegas.

Last year this fantastic event gives each and every rodeo fan a chance to see some of the great professional rodeo athletes perform and earn money while they are in Las Vegas for promotional appearances while not quite making it into the WNFR.  This was a very exciting event that the Rodeo Round Up team was able to cover last year before heading over to the Thomas & Mack for the WNFR performance later in the evening.  If last year was any indication the announcement that was made a couple days ago will make rodeo fans very happy and looking forward to heading to Sin City again this coming December!

It was announced that this exciting fan-friendly event will once again come back to the Orleans Hotel and Casino this coming December during the Wrangler National Finals week of festivities.  Those not lucky enough to get tickets to the main event over at the Thomas & Mack Center will have another unique opportunity to witness some of the most exciting rodeo action just down the road at the Orleans.  The 2nd annual Boyd Gaming Cinch Chute Out returns for another year December 8th through the 10th and will include some very interactive options for those fans that want to be part of the action!

Boyd Gaming brought a whole new feel to professional rodeo action as the first ever event provided those in attendance the option of a downloadable application to follow along with the rodeo action happening down on the arena floor.  Along with an interactive day sheet they gave the rodeo fans a chance to “pick their own teams” each day for a chance at winning some fantastic prizes and the option to legally bet on the outcome of the performances for the first time in history!

Challenge of champions pt2

Last year it was the invitees along with the 11th through the 15th cowboys and cowgirls in the World Standings that just missed out on a chance to compete at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo that were invited to compete.  Things heated up inside of the Orleans Arena from the very start, quite literally, as the pyrotechnics were enough to set the fire alarms off and send out Las Vegas’ finest firemen and women to give an all clear.  Once that was given it was full steam ahead as the fans witnessed some amazing rodeo action at a very affordable price which will happen again in 2016.

This year proves to be a very interesting one as the entire list of contestants will be announced later in the year.  That being said, everyone knows that the PRCA won the injunction with the Elite Rodeo Athletes (ERA) which leaves out some of the “biggest names” in professional rodeo out of the WNFR for 2016.  This leaves an interesting void that many speculate will do nothing but help the new Boyd Gaming Chute Out event since those contestants have promotional appearances scheduled already and will be in Las Vegas anyway looking to compete anywhere they can. This will something to watch as the December event draws closer… will you be able to see your favorite rodeo athletes compete for a very manageable budget at this year’s event?  We will all have to wait and see!
