Now that we are all in the final stretch and getting things lined up and ready for this year’s trip to Las Vegas there is some information that many of you have been anxiously waiting for. We all know who qualified for the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association’s Wrangler National Finals Rodeo but what we didn’t know, until a few days ago, was what back numbers our favorite rodeo athletes would be wearing for the ten day run inside the Thomas & Mack arena. Starting in just one month from today we will witness the top fifteen rodeo athletes in the world in each of the seven professional rodeo events compete for the World Championship title for the 2015 season. Here is what you have all been waiting for …… the official back numbers for this year’s qualifiers!
The cowboys of the roughstock events will be a force to be reckon with once the action kicks off December 3rd for the 2015 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Many names from the above lists have been a mainstay at the annual event while some others are virtual unknowns and hope to make a huge name for themselves in front of sold out crowds each and every night. There will be many story lines unfolding throughout the two weeks that are coming up quickly for these and we will keep you up to date with all the happenings associated with them live from Las Vegas !
The timed event side of the arena will be on fire as well as many top names in the sport today are making another trip out to the west coast to see what they can do underneath the bright lights of Las Vegas . The tie-down roping and steer wrestling competitions will be electrifying and will surely bring some fast runs and memorable highlights for those watching live and on CBS Sports Network. As always, there will be a learning curve for those making their first trips to the Thomas & Mack as the start is a little quicker and shorter than most they encountered throughout the year.
Although the majority of the team roping teams have been to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in the past there are some new names that will make the veterans pushing themselves harder than they ever have before. The amount of talent in this event will push everyone to their limits and will make the team roping event a very interesting one to watch this year. This will be a make or break National Finals for all teams as they will come out swinging for the fences each and every performance which will make for some fantastic runs!
The Women’s Professional Rodeo Association rounds out the talented cast for this year’s edition of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. There are many names that will be collecting back numbers this year for the first time and will be a nice fresh take on the only women’s event on the professional rodeo books. There will be some fan favorites that will be making another trip to Vegas as well which will have a great chance to give all those watching a record year in the barrel racing event!
