Tickets went on sale today for the 2nd annual RFD-TV’s The American held in conjunction with the Professional Bull Riders Iron Cowboy Event. Last year was a huge success with having these two huge events the same weekend, despite the weather, that it will happen again in 2015. RFD-TV and the Professional Bull Riders will work hand in hand again February 28th and March 1st, 2015 to bring you a weekend packed full of non stop family entertainment! Last year the world saw a young cowboy make history while becoming the winner of $1.1 million dollars after being the only “qualifier” to win his or her event and now he has become a household name and everyone knows Richmond Champion. Jason and his Rodeo Round Up team were there to witness the history happen and caught up with the new millionaire cowboy after the event and here is a reminder of what he had to say!
The weekend will once again be hosted in Arlington, Texas inside one of the grandest arenas in all of sports, AT&T Stadium. Last year the entire staff in Arlington rolled out the red carpet for each and everyone involved in the richest 1 day rodeo in the history, the RFD-TV’s The American, and the PBR’s Iron Cowboy. The Chairman and CEO of the Professional Bull Riders, Jim Haworth, and the CEO of Rural Media Group and RFD-TV, Randy Bernard, are excited and very happy to once again host their events in the great state of Texas. Once the first American was complete Jason had the chance to catch up with Randy Bernard to see what his thoughts were on the completion and what his plans were for the future of the event. The announcement of both organizations teaming up together again for another historic weekend just made all the promises and expectations that Bernard had going into future years become a reality.
