PRCA Announced The Year End Award Nominees This Morning!

This week is always an exciting one for the athletes, contractors and specialty acts in the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association.  Everyone has voted and the official counts are in for who has received the nominations for the year end awards.  As we head into the final stages of dwindling rodeo performances all eyes quickly focus on the upcoming 2016 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.  We also find out who will be working the prestigious event this coming December in Las Vegas, Nevada!

Earlier this morning the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association announced those that are in the running for the end of the year awards and who are up for the chance to perform at the WNFR.  The anticipation and excitement of this time of year can be felt among every member as the nomination ballots were filled out and sent back to the headquarters offices.  After a long month wait the announcements were happening all across social media along with the official statement from the PRCA powers that be.

Along with the above mentioned nominees are those in the categories of Pick-up Man, Secretary and Stock Contractor.  All of us within the professional rodeo industry knows that we can not do what we love to do without these very special people that make things run smooth all across the nation.  That being said voting also took place to determine who would win the categories of Small, Medium, Large Indoor and Large Outdoor Rodeos of the Year.
