Weston Rutkowski’s Winning Bull Fight

The inaugural Bull Fighters Only Roughy Cup competition showcased the return of the freestyle bull fighting events during the Cowboy Christmas happenings with a bang this last Thursday afternoon.  Twelve of the best bull fighters in the world came together to try and claim the championship title and the $5,000 payday that came along with it.  After all was said and done it was whittled down to the top four contestants that would fight it out one more time in the Championship Short Round.  Eventually it was  bull fighter Weston Rutkowski that would beat out all other qualifiers and claim victory with a huge 90.5 point bull fight!

The next two days the freestyle bull fights took center stage once again right away at 9 A.M. each morning as the doors opened at the convention center.  There were six amazing bull fights that took place both days where the top two from each round each day advanced to the semi-final round starting Wednesday morning.  These four athletes will join those other twelve who automatically advanced as members of the Bull Fighters Only organization.  After seeing the first three days we can not wait to watch the last four to kick off each day’s festivities!
